Those of you who follow the exploits of the Coull Team will remember how we took on the UK Three Peaks Challenge in September of last year and emerged victorious (if not unscathed)! It seems we have a taste for it now, as on 9th May we plan to take on another mountaineering trinity: The Yorkshire Three Peaks.
12 of us (below) will take on three mountains consecutively in 12 hours, with a total hiking distance of 25 miles and carrying everything we need for the expedition on our shoulders. Local girl Rebecca is our sherpa, Jamie is providing the soundtrack and Aden is sorting out the post-challenge celebratory bar.
(Aden Forshaw, Dan Madden, Elise Kuchel, Irfon Watkins, Jamie Barnett, Krasina Mileva, Liv Franzen, Oli Cundale, Rebecca Naylor, Simon Holliday, Stuart Mellis, Tom Riley)
How you can help
We’re doing this to raise money for Mind, the mental health charity. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
It’s a worthy cause and we’ve set ourselves a target of £1,000 fundraising. You can help by either visiting our fundraising page and donating to the cause, or by spreading the word by sharing this post on your social media channels! Thank you in advance for any support you can give us.
